Cookie policy
What we set, why, and how to control it.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. Some are needed to make the site work. Others help us understand how the site is used or measure our advertising. This page explains the ones we use and how to control them.
How we ask for your consent
We use a consent banner (provided by CookieYes) to ask before we set any cookie that is not strictly necessary. Until you choose, only essential cookies run, alongside a privacy-friendly form of analytics that does not use cookies or store anything on your device. Once you make a choice, we respect it.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the "Cookie Settings" control on the site, or by clearing cookies in your browser.
The cookies we use
We group cookies into three categories.
Necessary
These make the site work and remember your consent choice. They are always on.
cookieyes-consent, which stores your cookie choices.
Analytics
These help us see how visitors use the site so we can improve it. They only run if you accept analytics cookies.
- Google Analytics cookies (
_gaand similar), which measure site usage. - PostHog cookies (
ph_*), which are set only after you accept analytics. Before that, PostHog runs without cookies.
Advertising
These help us measure our advertising. They only run if you accept advertising cookies.
- A Google Ads cookie (
_gcl_au), which links ad clicks to actions on the site.
Our consent tool keeps a full, up-to-date list of the exact cookies in use, which you can view at any time through the Cookie Settings control.
